I don’t know about yall, but our summer has just been crazy busy! LOTS going on and still lots to get done.

I have been working on my project life pages a little and card swaps, and digital scrapping, and playing outside, swimming in the pool, taking pictures, and trying to enjoy my kids in the process of all this.

Let me start with some of my pages I was able to get done this past weekend.  Since I have two Becky Higgins Project Life binders I am still working on the 2013 one and I have decided to use the other one to start scrapping all the older pictures that are sitting safely in the lovely creative memories box.  But no one can see them there so I am starting to drag them into some pages and I really don’t care about fanciness, I just want them in pages so my kids can look at them.  Smile

The back side of the page I left off on:

Isn’t that an adorable card! It was from our polka dot swap at the card swap divas facebook group! LOVE it!

Then some new pages: This page is more of my boys working on a project with my hubby. I used some cards from the Boys Theme Swap for this page as filler and journal cards.

This cute card worked great here:next set of pages 003

And this Under Construction fit so perfectly here:next set of pages 004

Then the next page: Ryleigh’s silly kitty in my flower basket, the temperature that day and the flowers in my yard. I used one card from the Summer Fun swap and one from the Garden theme swap.  next set of pages 005

Here you can see how silly he is. Mr Fluffy is his name. next set of pages 006

I laughed so hard at this picture it looks like he was saying cheeeeeese! Smile next set of pages 007

The back of the page: next set of pages 012

The next page: I used more photos and random cards from several swaps. I even handed my daughter a blank white card and told her to draw me a picture on it for my book. I think it is my favorite so far.  I need to do the same thing with my boys who both draw too! Smilenext set of pages 013

Up close of the cards and journaling.  I used the photos even though some of them were blurry.  I used a small cheaper camera to take them and I shake too bad for that. lol next set of pages 014

This is what I was interupted with as I was taking photos of my layouts to blog.  “Look mom its your favorite color” Silly 15 year old boy! Got to love him. next set of pages 015

Here are some pics I swiped of my step-son from his facebook page. His Senior Prom photos.  We love and miss him and wish we had more time with him, but alas, facebook will have to do for now.  The Cherry Edition Becky Higgins kit worked great for these photos. next set of pages 016

I also printed off some of the free printable cards from May the 4th, just because I am hokey like that and got a kick out of them. lolnext set of pages 017

Week 19 is when we got Marley…pics of him and the kids. He is as big as Ryleigh is! lol

I used a card from Pebbles and Company here to journal about  it all. next set of pages 018

Printed some pics off my daughter’s camera of Jake. I put one set on the front of the page and one set on the back of the page. He is such a HAM! Open-mouthed smile

The back side of the page. She was trying to get him to look at the camera but it looks like she was trying to choke him…lol He just got a hair cut. next set of pages 022

More grandbaby pics! Brooklynn when she came to see us. I used a free currently card printable for the current info. Then added a card from Pebbles and company stack called I love You More. I mounted it to a square 4×4 piece of cardstock so it would fit better. next set of pages 023

The back side of the page. More pics and a journal spot about the day. She loves her Pawpaw! Smile

next set of pages 024

I made it through May 9th…now to finish the month…lol

{ I am no where near caught up right now} I have the journaling in my notebook to go with the pics I have taken, but no funds to print them at the moment}.

That is all for now!

Hugs!
