Project Life Pages

Scrapped more pages…I love using this method for scrapbooking!

Start with page 58 which is Week 11.

I changed out the cards and then added my journaling to them.

Then PAge 59 is a continuation of those pics:

Journaled on them.

Then Page 60…which is more of the same days pics. I know lots of people only scrap a few pics of their individual days, but I prefer the weeks events approach. And I didn’t print all the pics just the best ones from the photo shoot that we took that day. Smile

Here I added some banners to the pics to denote some information about the day.

Here you could see my post-it notes on my pages for what I am working on. So that when I have to walk away for a day or two sometimes I can pick up where I left off. lol I think I used this paper pack from Colorbok, I bought it at Walmart. LOVE it! Perfectly fits with my blush kit and other goodies I have. I used a Design E page protectors for these pages.

Page 62—Started off with just sticking the pics in a spot so I could see what I had to fit into. lol

Then added papers and elements to them and rearranged and cropped them. Whole page here:

Page 63—Just stuck various items into the pages again until I got to them.

Then added matching papers and cropped n matted one too.

{Glare on the pic will make you crazy…lol}

Page 64—Quick and simple pics in page pockets—DONE!

Page 65—Added cute freebie cards I printed for St. pat’s day. Also starts week 12.

Journaled and added it.

Page 66—Same freebie set of cards in use here: Then added journaling to it.

Page 67—More free cards—but added some others too! Lots of green for St. Pat’s day.

But then I rearranged and added a journal card.

PAge 69—I started out not knowing what to do on these either, but rearranged and added cards and VIola!

Page 70–

PAge 71—Beginning page—then added title card and moved one photo to back of page.

Page 72—moved the photo from the front to the blank spot…DONE.

And that is all for now…I have so many more to show but hate to make the post too much longer. Smile

More Project Life Card Swaps

More cards for the group I joined on facebook that swaps cards that we make for our project life binders/pockets. They are all handmade cards that were stamped or crafted by each of us.

Here are a few of the cards I am working on for this month’s swaps…

I love using my Cameo to cut out awesome stuff to go with my stamps and cardstock. I even incorporate some of my digital goodies into mine whenever I can…lol

These are made for the ladybug Swap—I used CTMH red card stock, then cut a piece of patterned paper by Colorbok for the cute swirls. Then I cut an arrow out with the cameo from white cardstock as well as a bigger one from the same red. Then I used Mrs. Grossman’s Ladybug stickers I found at Wal-Mart for the cute puffy ladybugs!

I just loved the simple but fun look of these.

This was my hobby lobby haul the other day…lots of fun stuff for my project life obsession. My hubby even picked out a scrapbook for our grandson that didn’t have one yet. So now I have to get busy scrapping pictures of Covie to fill it up. I also got a nice sized star punch just in time for the 4th of July swaps I am making.

Love the Memos cards and the cute ones I got from Pebbles too! And the cute MAMBI ones too! Got the Sn@p binder in pink for me. Fun twine and a roll of washi tape too! LOVE it all!

The next swap was for a Birthday theme swap I am hosting. I used a cute cupcake from Misskatecuttables. This is the pic of my little box with all the pieces cut out. The Box is from Lori Whitlock and was made to store Project life 4×6 cards in, but it works great to put all my pieces in while I assemble them.

Here is one of the cupcakes in the assembly process…I stamped the Happy Birthday sentiment from a CTMH set of stamps onto a grid cardstock that I printed on my printer. I made the grid in Illustrator with 1/4” lines. Cameo cut out the cards from the grid-stock. That file also came from Lori Whitlock’s box as well. pljuneswap 050 Gluing them together now…The finished product…then repeat a bunch more times…lol Here is the beginning of my 4th of July Swap…got my tools and embellishments rounded up!Here is an idea for the Garden swap…but not sure where I want to go with it yet.

I have no idea what color cardstock to mount the phrase I made or the cute peas from misskatecuttables. And it bugs me that it says 2 peas and there are 3 of them…lol Yeah, I know OCD moment.

Working on Project Life…

Got my project life kit in March so I decided to start on 2013 as my first project life project…I don’t take pictures every day and I can’t remember to do it, I tried with the Project 365 thing and failed miserably at it. So I am taking a different approach to my project life…I am scrapping the weeks/months as they go but if there are a few days with no photos OH WELL! Not a biggie. I did add some journaling in for a few days that I know why weren’t pictures taken…sometimes life throws us a curve ball or two so there is no schedule that can over come that. But here are my pages and I hope you enjoy them.

Spring is here!

Yay for spring! I am so tired of winter and coldness. I need a couple of months worth of medium temperatures so we can save on that electric bill…lol I love having the windows all open and waking up to that fresh smell each morning. As well as being able to hear the birds chirping and singing outside. It was the perfect temperature last night to me, so I woke up about 4 minutes before my clock went off this morning and made a fresh pot of coffee for my morning.

I have lots of stuff going on all over the place.

Journal Me This Challenge- Use one of my journaling prompts to get your journaling going on a page.

Piece Wrapping Challenge-Use every piece of the mini kit to create a page. Sometimes it is harder than you think. lol

Here is one of my pages that I made the cards for. I created a Pinterest looking card to use because I was unable to locate the person that had a free one…lol

I made note of the site I got the recipe from so I can look there later for more goodies! Smile

I cut all them out using my Silhouette machine! LOVE it!
